So… what is the Creature Club?

The Highrise Creature Club is built from two collectible NFT concepts: 11,111 one-of-a-kind creature avatars and the Highrise LAND NFTs that were brought into the same club. Hold either one and you're a member, with perks woven right into Highrise.

The basics

So, what's an NFT?

Think of an NFT as a one-of-a-kind digital collectible that's genuinely yours β€” recorded on the blockchain, not just sitting inside an app. Your Creature is yours to keep, wear, sell, or gift, and no one can copy or take it.

The club

What's the Creature Club?

It's 11,111 unique creature avatars, plus the Highrise LAND parcels folded into the same family. Members unlock wearable looks, daily Creature Coins, exclusive drops, and members-only spaces woven right into Highrise.

Gen 2 is on the way: every LAND will receive its own Creature, and every Gen 1 Creature its own pet β€” so Creatures and LAND end up equal in perks.

Membership

How do I become a member?

Just own a Creature or a LAND NFT β€” that's the whole requirement. Either one grants full Creature Club status: daily Creature Coins, exclusive drops, and the private community spaces.

Your Discord role is automatic. Once your NFT sits in a wallet linked to your Highrise account, your roles update on their own β€” usually within an hour. Nothing to claim on your side.

πŸ—ΊοΈ Highrise LAND NFTs

LAND NFTs are the club's collection of virtual parcels in the Highrise universe, in Standard and Premium tiers β€” and most LAND owners also have an adorable slime pet to go with their plot. LAND's original standalone plan changed, so the project was folded into the Creature Club family: owning LAND now makes you a member too.

LAND owners earn Creature Coins (Premium plots at 3Γ—), get room capacity boosts, keep their slime pets, and take part in the same drops and giveaways as Creature holders.

The journey

How HCC got here

No spin β€” just the honest arc of where the club has been and where it's headed.

2021 β€” THE MINT

11,111 creatures are born

HCC launches as Highrise's first collectible avatar project: programmatically generated creatures, each with a wearable set of items and a promise of perks for holders.

2022 β€” LAND ARRIVES

A second collectible: Highrise LAND

LAND launches as virtual parcels of the Highrise universe, in Standard and Premium tiers β€” with daily Land Tokens, room capacity boosts, an exclusive shop, and slime pets. The original dream: custom, monetizable corners of Highrise you could run yourself.

2022–2024 β€” THE WOBBLE

Big ideas, uneven follow-through

Lots of ambition across both projects, but consistency, communication and follow-through didn't meet the standard holders deserved. We heard the frustration loud and clear.

2023 β€” LAND JOINS THE CLUB

One family, not two

The original "custom monetizable Highrise" plan for LAND was wound down, and LAND owners were brought into Creature Club benefits. Land Tokens converted to Creature Coins, pets stayed with their owners, Premium LAND mirrored higher-tier Creature benefits at 3Γ—, and a compensation path covered owners who did not want the new direction.

2024 β€” THE MERGE SHIPS

LAND benefits become real HCC benefits

Regular updates confirmed the practical merge: Discord access opened to LAND owners, Highrise+ eligibility and Creature Coins applied to eligible players, exclusive LAND and Creature giveaways continued, and Gen 2 / shop work moved forward under one HCC update rhythm.

DEC 2025 β€” THE DELIVERY RESET

Back to visible follow-through

A dedicated artist put permanently on finishing Gen 1 & Gen 2. Bi-weekly updates. Monthly shop refreshes. Quarterly drops. A clear commitment to communication, delivery, and rebuilding trust one update at a time.

NOW β€” THE COUNCIL

Holders get a real voice

The next step: a holder-led Player Council that helps shape what gets made β€” across Creatures and LAND alike. Head to the Council page to see how it works.

Quick answers

Questions you might have

I own LAND, not a Creature β€” am I in the club?

Yes. LAND owners are full Creature Club members. Your Land Tokens became Creature Coins, you earn daily Coins (Premium plots at 3Γ—), and you take part in club drops and giveaways. Your plot and your slime pet stay exactly as they are.

Is my creature's ownership safe?

Yes. Plans to migrate creatures off the blockchain have been cancelled following Steam approval. If that ever needs to change, we'll tell you early and clearly β€” no surprises.

How much does a Creature cost β€” and what if I can't afford one yet?

Prices are set by holders, so they range widely β€” from a few hundred dollars to several thousand, depending on rarity and traits. For live numbers, the Market page shows the current floor and real sale history. Can't buy in yet? Keep an eye on the Highrise Discord β€” there are regular giveaways and contests where you can win one for free.

I bought a Creature but don't see my role or perks yet β€” what gives?

First, make sure the wallet holding it is linked to your Highrise account β€” that's what connects your NFTs to the club. Once it's linked, your Discord roles and perks sync on their own, usually within an hour. If it's been longer, double-check you linked the right wallet, then ask in the public Highrise Discord.

Which marketplace do I use β€” and how do I avoid fakes?

Gen 1 Creatures trade on Token Trove (Immutable zkEVM). LAND and Gen 2 live on OpenSea, under the "Highrise LAND" collection. Important: Gen 1 Creatures are not on OpenSea β€” any "Highrise Creature" or "Highrise Creature Club" collection you see there is a fake scam. Always reach a marketplace through the official links in the Highrise Discord, never a random DM.

Straight talk

Why we're doing this

Trust doesn't come back from promises β€” it comes from consistent delivery and from actually listening. The Council exists so HCC holders aren't just told what's coming next, but help decide it. It's a sounding board with real teeth on creative direction, run alongside the team that builds.

The big idea

Meet the Player Council

A small, holder-led group that works with a dedicated PM and the art team to finish Gen 2 and run the steady drops. It's advisory with teeth β€” a real say on creative, not a vote on the business.

Every HCC holder β€” Creature or LAND β€” is a member; hold for 3 months and you can vote. A Council "seat" is a formal elected role on top of that: only 7 exist, and you vote on who fills 4 of them.

How a seat is won

1

βš–οΈ

Why brackets?

So the Council can't be dominated by the largest holders. Every tier of the community has at least one seat reserved for someone who actually lives in it β€” a holder with a single Creature has a real shot, not just in theory.

πŸ“

What it takes to run

Meet your bracket's asset count at the snapshot, have held at least 1 HCC asset continuously for 3 months (same bar as voters), and self-nominate during the open window by answering the application's open questions on your positions. Brackets gate running, not voting β€” every eligible holder votes on all 4 races.

Where the Council has real power

How a seat works

Fair, simple, and yours

🎟️

Hold to vote

Hold at least 1 HCC asset (Creature or LAND) continuously for 3 months to vote. To run: 2 seats are open to holders of 1–4 assets, 1 is reserved for holders of 5–14 assets, and 1 for holders of 15+ β€” so every holder size has a voice.

πŸ”’

Seats can't be sold

A Council seat is tied to you β€” never bought or traded, same spirit as the club itself.

πŸ—³οΈ

You nominate, you vote

A self-nomination window opens β€” you answer a few open questions on your positions β€” then holders vote. Clean and open.

Six-month terms, max two in a row for elected seats. No entrenchment.

β€’ β€’ β€’
At the ballot

How voting works

For each of the 4 seat races you pick one candidate. The candidate with the most votes wins that seat. One holder, one vote per seat β€” never weighted by how much you hold.

πŸ”

Vote here on the site β€” sign in with Discord (linked to your Highrise account) so we can confirm you're an eligible holder.

🧾

Private & verifiable

Individual votes are never published β€” only per-seat tallies. You get a private receipt to confirm your vote was counted.

πŸ“Š

Final & transparent

Votes are final once cast, and most election statistics are published right here on the site.

πŸͺ‘

Unopposed? You still decide

If a race has no more candidates than seats, you vote to seat them or to reopen nominations. If reopening wins but nobody new steps up, the original candidate is seated β€” a seat can be contested, never blocked into a vacancy.

β€’ β€’ β€’
Vote on merit

Find your candidate

To help you vote on substance rather than name recognition, the site includes a Voting Advice Application.

Quick answers

Questions you might have

Is this a DAO? Do I own part of the company now?

No. The Council is advisory β€” a powerful sounding board on creative and roadmap decisions. Pocket Worlds remains the executor and keeps final say on the business, the economy and the brand.

Will big holders just take over?

No. It's one holder, one vote in every seat β€” never weighted by how many Creature or LAND assets you own. How many you hold only affects which seat you can run for β€” we reserve seats for different holder sizes so everyone is represented β€” never how much your vote counts. And 4 of the 7 seats are elected directly by holders, with 3 appointed for continuity and competence. We're stating that split openly rather than pretending it's purely democratic.

What about Gen 1 and Gen 2?

A dedicated artist is on finishing them, and the Council helps decide which creatures and variants make each Gen 2 set β€” picking from the options the art team can actually build.

What does the Council actually start with?

It starts advisory-leaning, and its "Decides" power grows release by release as it proves out. Think training wheels that come off over time, not everything on day one.

The basics

What you actually own

Your creature and your LAND are NFTs β€” items you truly own on the blockchain, not just inside an app. Here's what that means.

πŸͺͺ

Truly yours

An NFT is a one-of-a-kind item recorded on the blockchain. Your creature is yours to keep, wear, sell, or gift.

⚑

Lives on Immutable

HCC creatures live on the Immutable zkEVM network β€” a fast, low-fee blockchain built for game items.

πŸ”‘

You hold the keys

Your wallet, like MetaMask, is how you prove ownership and move your assets. Guard it like your house keys.

πŸ›’

Trade on Token Trove

Token Trove is the marketplace where you buy, sell, and transfer your creatures.

Your toolkit

Four things you'll meet again and again. Get familiar and the rest is easy.

One thing to know

Creatures live on the Immutable zkEVM network. You'll switch your wallet to it when buying or moving creatures β€” Token Trove walks you through it each time.
